AAU Tryout Date Set for 2009/2010 Season

If you have a boy entering fifth through eighth grades, and want to turn out for Stanwood AAU basketball, they are invited to tryouts Thursday, October 1st from 6:30-8:00 at Stanwood High School. Just because it has been summertime, there has been basketball going on. As the schools reopen to students keep your eyes and ears open for AAU tryouts.

Congratulations to all teams this weekend. The eighth grade placed fifth and the seventh grade finished second. All teams should be recognized for their effort. Way to go.

The WESCO regular season wrapped up on Sunday, March 1st, with a pair of make up games. Today, Monday, the league posted the brackets (without times/places) on the WYBL site. Click here to check back and see the completed brackets after Tuesday. Below are the first round match ups:
